The fifth session of the Board of Directors of the International Association of Oil Transporters took place in Bratislava (the Slovak republic) on May 26, 2016. Apart the members of the IAOT: „MERO ČR“, Inc. (Incorporated Company), „AK „Transneft“, Inc., „Transpetrol“,Inc., „MOL“, Inc., JSC „Gomeltransneft Druzhba“ have also participated the representants of „Ukrtransnafta“, p.Inc. and International Investment Bank.
The Board of Directors approved the admission to the IAOT the Chinese National Corporation of Oil and Gas (CNPC Pipeline Company) that was on the session represented by the Vice-President of “PetroChina“, Inc. General Director of PetroChina Natural Gas and Pipelines Company Mr.Chuan Vejche.
In the course of the session was decided to found in the frame of the IAOT the Permanent Working Expert Group on Supplies. The activity of the Permanent Working Expert Group on Supplies will be concentrated on solving the following goals:
- Protection and strengthening of trade interests of the members of the International Association of Oil Transporters in the sphere of transportation and storage of oil and oil products;
- Assistance to all-embracing development in the sphere of transportation and storage of oil and oil products;
- Supporting members of the IAOT in strengthening and development of mutual relations on international, regional and national markets;
- Supporting of all-embracing development and functioning /operation of the national network of oil and oil products transportation in order to ensure security a stability of oil supplies.
The IAOT members have approved the updated Schedule of the IAOT for the period of 2016 - 2017, have approved the draft of the Annual Report and the Financial Statement for 2015 as well as the Auditorial Report for 2015.
